So I have a custom-made kindle case and... IT. IS. AWESOME.
Which is why, as a graduation gift, one of my bestest best friends in the whole wide world made me what is perhaps THE BEST GIFT THAT HAS EVER BEEN GIVEN IN THE HISTORY OF GIFTS.
Or, at the very least, the best gift any true bookworm has ever received.
QUITE POSSIBLY THE BEST GIFT I'VE EVER RECEIVED IN MY ENTIRE 22 YEARS ON THIS PLANET.
Because seriously, this girl is awesome and will one day have her own crafting empire, I swear to you. (Move over, Martha... Meagan is coming for you!)
But I digress. Let's back up a bit, shall we?
Two weeks ago, my crafty friend Meags texted me out of the blue, asking about my favorite colors and animals, as well as what kind of kindle I use. And, with me being the weirdo that I am, I really didn't think too much of these seemingly random questions at the time. (To those of you yet unfamiliar with my obsession with elephants -- that is a story for another day...)
So imagine my surprise when a few short days later, a package arrived in the mail for me and THIS was inside:
That's right, folks! A CUSTOM MADE KINDLE PAPERWHITE CASE.
IN MY FAVORITE COLORS.
WITH AN EMBROIDERED ELEPHANT ON THE FRONT. (Trunk up for luck, obviously.)
Seriously, have you ever seen anything so wonderful EVER? Because I haven't. It's a bookworm's dream come true. So I obviously had to share it with all my fellow book lovers (because, let's face it, there's just no one else out there who understands my obsession with fictional boyfriends -- cough, cough, Jericho Barrons, cough, cough -- my beloved kindle, and any kind of custom accessories that go along with it).
BTW, Meagan is only 21 and has already started her own mini-crafting empire within her sorority and around the UD campus, so it's really only a matter of time before she takes over the world armed only with her embroidery machine. Do me (and yourself, because, seriously, what kind of crazy person doesn't want a custom made kindle case?!?!?) a favor and check out her social media pages for more fun designs and crafts!
Thanks for reading! Love you all (especially you, Meags!). XOXOXOXO
