Hello, my friends! I’m here in your inbox one day early with this month’s newsletter — and for a very special reason.

That’s right! My first ever romantic fantasy is finally here. You can find it in stunning hardcover wherever books are sold, at stores all over the country. Or, you can of course order an e-copy from your favorite e-retailer!

Today’s newsletter is going to be abbreviated. In part because I have a very busy day ahead. Mostly, though, it’ll be short and sweet because I’d much rather you spend your time reading THE WIND WEAVER than a long, drawn-out email ramble from me.

(Frankly, I’m saving my rambles for tonight, when I’ll be speaking and signing copies at Lovestruck Books in Cambridge, MA!)

I’m truly honored that so many of you are already connecting to this story, and these characters. Though a big part of me still can’t quite believe it that The Wind Weaver, my precious baby, is finally out in the world.

This has been a long, long time coming. I first began writing this story back in 2021, if you can believe it. It went on submission to publishers in early 2023. I sold the rights to the US and UK a few short months later, in summer 2023… and then, my agents continued to sell 20+ foreign language rights over the months (and years!) that followed.

After the trilogy sold, I went through rounds of developmental edits, copy edits, and pass-page edits… I marketed and posted silly reels and answered interview questions…I cried and laughed and wrote until my eyes bled…

And now we’re here.

Release day, at last!

It’s perfect timing, in a way. Just as I finish writing book three, you all get to dive headfirst into book one. I’m saying goodbye as you say hello. There is a beautiful symmetry in that.
